Fill out your LTL order correctly and the system clears it on the first pass — carriers accept it without friction. Get it wrong, and it gets held, kicked back, or even cancelled.
Carriers check commodity, NMFC and dimensions/weight against every order. Get it wrong and the best case is a request for more info and a delayed pickup — the worst case is the order gets rejected, cancelled, or rebilled after the fact. The system catches these issues before tender (dispatch), so you can fix them on the spot.
Real case: One order listed the commodity as just "MISCELLANEOUS" with an NMFC code that didn't match. The carrier couldn't get a straight answer and cancelled the already-dispatched truck the same day.
At submission, approval and dispatch, the system shows a checklist — just read the color:
Blocks submission/dispatch until fixed. These are objective, fixable issues that will cause problems with the carrier if left as-is. Fix it and you're cleared.
Doesn't block anything — you can proceed as normal. These are suggested improvements (e.g. no NMFC entered — the system classifies by density instead).
Kraft paper bags (specific, in English)goods / general / unclear itemThree rules: ① Be specific about the actual item (not goods/general/miscellaneous). ② Must be in English (the BOL and carrier systems only read English). ③ Entered the commodity in Chinese? Click 🤖 AI to translate it to English in one click — it only translates your product name, English entries are left untouched.
Key point: NMFC sub-codes are set by the carrier's own catalog — don't force a sub-code that doesn't exist, the system will block it. It's normal not to know it — just leave it blank; we classify by density and the carrier confirms the final class.
Why it matters: Density (dimensions + weight) directly determines the rate. Inaccurate figures mean a rebill later — enter the real numbers.
Eddie (name only)KS2606154586+YST Billy (reference number stuffed in)The contact field is for a name only. Put reference/order numbers in the Reference field — stuffing them into the contact field triggers a "character limit exceeded" error from the carrier.

Insurance requires a declared value. If you opt in, enter the real cargo value — otherwise the policy can't be issued.
Customer, agent and ops all see the same review checklist — the earlier it's right, the fewer round-trips.
